WHEEL BEARING SEALS
Wheel Bearing Seals play a major role in the longevity and reliability of
wheel bearings. A leaky seal will allow grease and lubrication to escape
the wheel bearings and allow dirt and moisture to enter the bearings creating
extra friction on the bearings and ultimately causing the wheel bearings
to fail prematurely.
Quality wheel bearings are designed to last in excess of 100,000 miles
but if a wheel bearing seal starts to leak and goes undetected the bearings
will need to be replaced earlier than designed and it is recommended that
the wheel bearings be replaced in matched sets with new races if the wheel
bearing seals are leaking.
Wheel Bearing Warehouse carries a complete line of brand name and economy
line wheel bearing seals from industry leaders: Timken, BCA, National
